Currently some coverage for low back pain in patients with Medicare may be available for Acupuncture procedures done under medical supervision in a doctor’s office.

However, Licensed Acupuncturists, including Angela Barbara, LAc, are not eligible to be Independent Participating Providers with Medicare (or Medicare Supplemental Plans) at this time. Please read more about acupuncture and Medicare here.

If you have a Medicare Advantage PLan or secondary insurance plan (not supplemental) to Medicare, you may have coverage for treatment with us and we invite you to complete our Insurance Benefits Check Form*.
